How to use the Rundown Feature on the Lithium Series II Tool
The rundown feature in the HYTORC Lithium Series II Electric Torque Tool (LST) allows you to quickly tighten nuts to snug prior to applying torque to tighten the bolt. With this feature, the LST is two tools-in-one, eliminating the need for a second impact gun to get nuts snug.
Using the rundown mode on the LST is simple, only requiring a flip of a switch on the bottom side of the tool. Hardy shows the simple steps needed to transition from torque mode to snug mode and back as he tightens 3 bolts to 700 ft. lbs.
