Digi-Talk Special: Canon Couples
Hey guys! Happy Valentine’s Day!
Okay, so this is related to Digi-Talk, but it’s more of a shorter “mini-sode” of sorts. My original intention was just to make a little video with the Adventure gang speculating about potential pairings with Tri on the horizon. Then that ended up evolving into this, which will have some consequences on the next few Digi-Talks.
Now, about the whole “Taiora vs. Sorato” thing: I may be a Taiora supporter, and I would be really excited to see something about that pairing even hinted at in Tri, but I’d honestly respect the creators more if they stuck to their guns and kept the canonicity of Sorato in place. That’s how I feel about Tri in general, actually. I don’t want them to just retcon 02 out of existence, I’d rather they EXPAND on the universe that already exists. But hey, that’s just me. Either way, I’m sure I’ll have a good time watching it when it comes out. And honestly, I’m almost positive they’ll keep everything canon. After all, they’re clearly trying to appeal to the “nostalgia” demographic with this, and 02 is definitely nostalgic right along with season 1.
Also, to all those who recognized the guy at the end, the Canadians have arrived!
