Whether you’re looking to switch from Windows or macOS, or just want to try something new, this guide will walk you through every step of the process. So let’s get started!
First things first, let’s prepare for the installation. Here’s what you’ll need:
1.A Backup: Make sure to back up any important data on your laptop. Installing Ubuntu will replace your current operating system if you choose to overwrite it.
2.System Requirements: Check that your laptop meets the minimum requirements for Ubuntu. Don’t worry—most modern laptops should be compatible.
3.A USB Drive: You’ll need a USB drive with at least 4GB of space. We’ll use this to create a bootable installation media.
4.A Working Internet Connection: This will help you download Ubuntu and any necessary updates.
second step Create a Bootable USB Drive:
1. Download Ubuntu:

Use a tool like Rufus. Insert your USB drive, open Rufus, select the Ubuntu
ISO file, and click ‘Start’.

3.Save and Exit: Save the changes and restart your laptop. It should now boot from the USB drive.
