The JUICE satellite is an interplanetary spacecraft developed by the European Space Agency (ESA) to explore three of Jupiter's icy moons: Ganymede, Callisto, and Europa. These moons are thought to have oceans of liquid water beneath their surfaces, which could make them potentially habitable environments. The JUICE satellite launched on 14 April 2023 will reach Jupiter in July 2031 after eight years of travel. It will perform 35 flybys of the three moons before entering orbit around Ganymede in December 2034, becoming the first spacecraft to orbit a moon other than Earth's Moon.
