Inspired by a novel by the Amazonian author Milton Hatoum, ORPHANS OF ELDORADO tells the story of a man who, haunted by the death of his mother and the disdain of his father, experiences the ruin of the family business and the disappearance of the woman he loves. On a downward spiral, he loses his roots, his fortune and his reason, as he pursues a delirious quest for an unattainable – and therefore irresistible – love.
