After Glockstore dot com told me that the G48 Slide will NOT work with the SS80 Frame, we decided to research and compare the 43 and 48 slides. Turns out the "Slimline" Slides are identical other than length and coatings. Same 17lb "1-1" Recoil Spring Assembly, Same generation Striker Safety Plunger, Same Dimensions, SAME SLIDES!!! We demonstrate the swapping of uppers/slides between 48 and SS80 frames.
