In this video , the Amplify and Forward relay scheme was simulated in AWGN channel using Matlab.
we first generate a random sequence of bits. Then, we perform Binary Phase Shift Keying (BPSK) modulation on these bits, where 0 is mapped to -1 and 1 is mapped to 1. Next, we define the SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) in decibels and convert it to a linear scale. From the SNR, we calculate the noise variance of the AWGN channel. Finally, we add Gaussian noise to the transmitted signal by generating random samples from a normal distribution .
