The Dead on the Horse Ranch | Sentenced! - The Court Podcast
In October 2014, two bodies were found under a manure pile on a horse ranch in Maintal near Frankfurt. They were Harry and Sieglinde Klock, the ranch's owners. They had been dead for four months. Their tenants, a father and son, led the police to the bodies. They admitted to killing their landlords in a dispute over unpaid rent. However, they insisted they acted in self-defense. Twice the courts believed them; on the third occasion, the Frankfurt Regional Court convicted them of manslaughter.
