It’s just impossible to be an expert in every topic. Even though I’ve been a host and interpreter in the food industry for ten years, cheese still isn’t a staple for most Thais. It’s delicious, but we just don’t have it often.
I really enjoy learning new things through this work. One great aspect of being a host is that it’s like reading a book and conducting research. I get to dive deep into subjects I don’t casually explore. While hosts may not know everything in detail, we have a broad understanding, which can be both an advantage and a drawback.
For someone who loves reading, it feels like I’m picking up a new book almost every week on the job—often more than one!
I just need to ice my eyes for a bit; this project has been quite a marathon.
But I’m really happy with the experience!

อาชีพและพิธีกรดีอย่างหนึ่ง คือเหมือนได้อ่านหนังสือทำวิจัย ทำความเข้าใจกับเรื่องที่อยู่เฉยเฉยคงไม่ได้หยิบขึ้นมาอ่านลึกขนาดนี้ เปลี่ยนงานเปลี่ยนหัวข้อ
เราไม่ได้รู้ลึกแต่เรารู้กว้าง
ก็อาจเป็นทั้งข้อดีและเสีย
แต่สำหรับคน ชอบอ่านหนังสือ
เรารู้สึกว่าเราได้หยิบหนังสือเล่มใหม่มาอ่านในแทบทุกสัปดาห์ของการทำงาน
ไม่ใช่เล่มเดียวด้วยนะคะ
ขออนุญาตนำน้ำแข็งมาประคบตาก่อน
กว่าจะจบโปรเจ็คนี้ตุ่ยเลยทีเดียว
และมีความสุขมากๆค่ะ
