The Legacy Defining Season for the Guys from NBA on TNT
The 1992-93 NBA season was a year for the history books! 🏀 From Shaq’s explosive rookie debut to Charles Barkley’s MVP run, and the unforgettable moments of Kenny "The Jet" Smith and Ernie Johnson’s early career moves, this season helped shape the NBA legends we now know as the iconic NBA on TNT crew.
👀 Relive the magic of Shaq’s Rookie of the Year season, Barkley’s MVP glory, and Kenny Smith's clutch playoff performance with the Rockets. This was also the year Ernie made his mark in broadcasting, starting a journey that would eventually lead to multiple Emmy Awards.
It's wild to think that back in 1992-93, these four were all building their legacies independently, not knowing they’d later come together to create one of the greatest TV crews in sports history. 🤯 The chemistry we now see on NBA on TNT is nothing short of legendary.
