IBM System p5 POWER Processor Swap
Swapping out one of the processor assemblies on an IBM p5 550Q power machine from the mid-2000s. After that we'll setup some LPARs, or Logical Partitions, dividing the machine into multiple pieces with an HMC, or Hardware Management Console. I'll also show a sneak peak of a pSeries predecessor, an RS/6000 F40 machine I'm going to cover in the future.
