[Furious] Reviving a flexible cable
Asuka Syuzendo Co., Ltd. is a repair company, but we no longer generally refurbish FPC cables. This is because, in many cases, it's cheaper to purchase a new unit. Incidentally, one recent order we received involved restoring a genuine Ferrari navigation system flex cable, which I recall was about 3cm wide and 100 lines. The cost was about 80,000 yen. Apparently, if we couldn't refurbish it, a full replacement would cost over 1 million yen, so we received a serious consultation from a car repair shop. Of course, we use dedicated equipment, not a handheld router like the one in the video, but it works perfectly.
