Ravel, 'Jeux d'eau' played by Albert Ferber
The Swiss-born pianist Albert Ferber (1911-1987) was admired for his interpretations of French music, and this performance of Ravel's 'Jeux d'eau' perhaps demonstrates why. The original LP sound was not fantastic - and still isn't - but the quality of the playing comes across.
