NDR 2024: Current Gifted Education Programme to be revamped to benefit more students
Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said the current Gifted Education Programme (GEP) will be replaced with a new approach.
Under the current GEP, students who are identified for the programme are put in 9 primary schools. The change will help those with higher abilities to go faster and stretch to their full
potential.
He was speaking at the National Day Rally on 18 Aug 2024.
