Why Brahma Chickens? Because Brahmas are awesome!
We decided to get some Brahma chickens and a few Brahma roosters! In total we have 7 Brahma hens and 2 Brahma roosters in this coop. Reasons we got them. They apparently lay eggs better in the winter than the summer! Since we live in a cold region that is great because if the Brahmas lay in the winter and our other birds lay in the summer we have a good year round steady supply of eggs.
