ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
The idea here is that systems can be looked at in a number of different ways. Analytical thinking takes us inside of the system and takes it apart to produce knowledge, while synthetic thinking takes outside of the system to produce understanding.
Knowing how a system works is different than understanding why it's important.
