3-Part Raised Bed Planting Plan, Part 1
I asked about your favorite vegetables a while ago and created a planting plan based on the answers. Now I'm testing how well it works. Will you join me?
There's room for 7 rows on the 2-meter-long bed. Between mid-March and mid-April, we sow:
🌱 Lettuce (early cut lettuce)
🌱 Radishes (Easter Egg)
🌱 Orange Beets (Touchstone Gold)
🌱 Carrots (Rouge Sang)
🌱 Batavia Lettuce (Biscia Rossa)
🌱 Snow Peas (Dwarf Gray Sugar)
🌱 Turnips (Collet Violet)
The varieties I sowed are in parentheses, but of course, you can choose others. If you don't have early cut lettuce, use arugula, which is also quick-growing.
After the Ice Saints, there will be a change in the flowerbed, and then again in August. There will also be a detailed blog post about it. Subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when it's online.
