Why TESLA Owners DON'T Need Fast Home Charging
Most people assume that with that purchase of a Tesla comes a necessary at-home charging upgrade.
In this video, I go over why that, for most people, an upgraded at-home charging situation isn’t needed. In fact, most Tesla owners can get away with using any standard outlet as long as they have access to it and have the mobile wall connector.
I even break down the numbers so you can follow along with your own data to see if you can get away with using a standard outlet.
I’ve wonder my Model 3 for 2 years and have been using the standard 12v outlet on my garage. Besides a handful of supercharger stops during busy weeks, this has worked out just fine for me.
