GUCCI Garden: The Failed Roblox Event

GUCCI Garden was an event created by ROBLOX that launched on the 17th of May in 2021. For the event, ROBLOX partnered up with fashion based company GUCCI to commemorate GUCCI's 100th anniversary. To celebrate this occasion, GUCCI and ROBLOX decided to open up a virtual exhibition titled "Gucci Garden".
The main center of attention of the exhibition were the limited items being sold in it. Every day in the month of May, a new GUCCI item would be released. Many players bought these items mainly for the resell value (myself included lul).
Today, I talk about what led up to the event, the event itself, and what my personal opinion on it was... 7 months after the event ended.
