The NJPAC Jazz Crawl is more than just a concert series. It's an opportunity to celebrate the rich history and culture of jazz music. As we made our way through various venues in Newark, New Jersey, we couldn't help but appreciate the historic jazz events that these musicians represented.
Throughout the afternoon, we were treated to a variety of jazz styles, from the opening event by the TD Jazz Teens performing at Just Fish restaurant to a mid day performance by the seasoned heavy hitters of the Jimbo Ro quartet performing Gil Scott-Heron to a killer jazz jam session led by the Jalin Shiver trio at Rutgers Institute f Jazz Studies Clement's Place.
