My first custom painted Nintendo Switch Pro controller
While the shell and buttons are from ExtremeRate, the analog stick caps from a nice Etsy seller and the handgrips from a random eBay seller, I still wanted to pimp them up.
I used about 4 layers of clear glitter nail polish for the front shell, back shell, analog stick caps and the handgrips. I also used the remaining clear pearl glitter nail polish for the inside of the back shell which surprisingly does its job very well! Quite a shame I ran out of it and couldn't buy new bottles anymore as it was sold out... xD
Everything still works great too! I might look for those fancy, good quality Nintendo Switch stickers for my Nintendo Switch Pro controllers as this isn't the first one that's "shell-swapped". I probably would end up getting Super Mario stickers, this yellow controller could use a Super Star. :P
And don't worry, I used a nice finishing touch layer so that the nail polish paint is protected and wouldn't wear off that quickly... At least, I hope so. xD
