Deer Movement in WIND study BREAKDOWN and thoughts
Today, we are looking at and discussing the famous "Deer Movement in Wind" study conducted by Penn State University and others starting in 2013. This study is commonly referenced in today's discussions and debates of the question - "will the deer be moving on a windy day?"
We take a look at the data gathered in the study, the parameters they set for the data harvesting, and some issues I think that are present with this information and the way it was gathered (some of them are glaring issues!) .
Please watch the breakdown of this study in its entirety and then let me know if you think what I'm claiming is a fair argument or if you think I am missing from this study, if you have another study that you think is better, or if you have anecdotal experience to support or reject the hypothesis that deer move on windy days!
