Metro Exodus Re-Review | Worth it now?
Metro Exodus came out 5 years ago and during that time saw several large updates, expansions, and a substantial overhaul to the visuals. It’s taken me a while to play it, simply because I didn’t love Metro 2033 Redux. I can thankfully report that I think this is a much better game in every way. It’s a big, ambitious title that took a sizeable gamble moving the story and gameplay out of the titular Metro. This gamble paid off though, and although some long-standing issues with the series remain, I think it's a great game overall.
This re-review will cover the main updates, the paid DLC, the enhanced edition, and ultimately if I think it's worth it now. Your time and money that is...
