AutoCAD 2D draw draw triangle of equal size circles inside a fix size equilateral triangle

A student asked me how to draw triangle of equal size circles inside a fix size equilateral triangle.
I think it is fun CAD question so I think of the follwoing method.
I think you can enhance your drawing skill in AutoCAD by doing the exercise.
If you have faster method, please let me know.
Assume the one edge of equilateral triangle is 100, and assume number of triangles is 12, steps is as below:
1. Draw a random size circle
2. turn on polar, set 30 degree increment, set polar tracking all angle
3. copy cricles using object snap tracking with array 12
4. copy circles horizontally with array 12
5. erase extra circles
6. draw 3 sided polygon using edge option and centres of circle
7. offset polyogn from midpoint of polygon to cricle quadrant
8. erase original polygon
9. scale by reference all objects to size 100.
