quantum and imaginary are TYPES that come from the honkai impact 3rd universe. these are special types outside of psychic, mecha, and biologic (psy, bio mech) in honkai. they defined both enemies and characters and each had a counter that would deal 30% more damage if done correctly. it seems these types have been brought over into star rail as just an element however, and not so much as a type.
