[ ✧ ☞ The game offers you no less than 99 different endings. Suffice to say that if you want to see all the ending cutscenes, you will have to have played the game several times. The secondary events allow you to unlock new characters or even access elements that can add something extra to your adventure.
☞ In addition to the graphic changes made (and not the least in HD-2D) and the possibility of switching between original and re-orchestrated music, there are elements that you did not have at the time in the game base. Among other things, access to fast travel, also very easily accessible by pressing a simple key, you have icons representing the events and private actions in which you can currently take part without the need to visit all the places already unlocked to find out if there are any interactions to be made.
☞ You will also be able to see the monsters on the map (even if they are all represented by the same icon outside of combat). In return for the disappearance of random fights, there is the addition of Leaders who will be slightly more powerful enemies than the basic ones and who will activate bonuses to their allies or penalties to your team.
☞ As for real-time combat, it is now possible to cast your allies' magic directly from the spells menu, a shield gauge that you can break with attacks from behind or using destruction techniques. Once the latter is destroyed, the enemy enters a ruptured state, which stuns them and makes them unable to move. There are many small tweaks that make the adventure and combat more enjoyable and enriched.
☞ Between exploration, combat, side quests, different endings to unlock and a whole bunch of other things, you'll definitely have plenty to do if you're looking for a J-RPG that keeps its charm and atmosphere of yesteryear, all by having the intelligence to make itself attractive for the modern era. ⚙︎ ]
