Lucky Noobs [LN] - Vale Guardian
Hey Guys, we are happy to finally announce and publish our Vale Guardian All Time Record Kill, beating the previous four years old(!) Scourge Record from Quantify by one second.
The main mechanic that allowed us to achieve this run is the high burst damage of the bladesworn combined with its ability to share quickness on allies. This allowed us to run very aggressive firebrands in order to keep up the split phase timings. The specters are capping of the team comp by providing alac, heal and condition damage.
For the build we took Eagle runes instead of Thief runes which enabled us to do more damage in phase 2 and phase 3 where it mattered the most. We also took River's Flow trait instead of Unseen Blade as it provided more flow which was neccessary in order to use 10 charge Dragon Slashes in every phase.
The whole idea behind the rotation revolved around doing 3 Dragon Slashes in every main phase and 2 Dragon Slashes in every split phase as fast as possible while doing enough damage with other skills in between the Dragon Slashes to phase the boss. The most important thing was to not delay any of the Dragon Slashes. We did not do slash opener because in that case we would not have had enough dps to phase the boss fast enough in phase 2 and phase 3 . As for the the opener in each phase: before the Dragon Slash we kept Cyclone Axe for the vulnerability and skipped the other skills in most of the phases so we could get to the 3rd Dragon Slash, which is required to phase the boss, as fast as possible.
