They Butchered Saw With This
You know by now I love a claustrophobic, tight knit little horror and here comes Nine Dead to show us how it's done. Now once looking it up, I was amazed to see it tried to copy Saw 1 almost identically for it's cover yet nothing here was like that classic. No Jigsaw, John Kramer, not even a toilet! That aside, here we have 9 individuals trapped in a room together who must uncover how they are all connected and every ten minutes, one person is eliminated at random. Will the mystery be able to carry this movie? Let's find out.

Nine Dead is a 2009 American horror thriller film, directed by Chris Shadley, produced by Paula Hart and written by Patrick Wehe Mahoney. Filming began on July 6, 2008 and ended on July 27, 2008. The film spent several months without a distributor before being picked up by New Line Cinema and having a limited U.S. release on November 6, 2009. The film was released on DVD on March 9, 2010.
