How do you become fast at Paintless dent repair and yet very proficient?
I can tell you from experience and being able to glass a repair to perfection and win the 2015 Dent Olympics which is an international event. It is my recommendation the best way to become fast and very proficient in Paintless Dent Repair is to make sure you start the dent out in a particular way from the very beginning.  you might be asking what particular way? are there not many ways? Yes there are ways of getting a repair finished, you can just throw time at it and energy and eventually you will come to a finish that is true . However, the only true example is when the original orange peel texture has been raised to the surface undisturbed. The myth in Paintless Dent Repair is that you beat up the Dent with multiple pushes that bring up the bulk of it, only it does bring it up, but now you have to remove all of that texture with cross checking then perhaps adding sharper push marks here and there to help it all blend in, but that is simply doing more work.  This method of PDR training or Paintless dent repair is a falsehood, because it lures you into thinking that this cross checking throw all your time at it method can scale up to larger dents. I’m here to tell you it does not. Only not in the way you’re thinking of. This slow boat to China method does eventually help you fix the dent, with crosschecking and crosschecking and crosschecking some more. The falsehood is that you will stick with the strategy for your whole career and be happy. I’m here to tell you, you will not be happy and you will be incredibly frustrated after you’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars, countless hours weeks months years training. Watching your kids grow still trying to figure out how to glass repairs quick. . Only to find out the larger the dent and or the more complex it gets, that just is more pushes and taps and more crosschecking. therefore the years go by and you’re frustrated because you cannot glass repairs super fast . Why is that? Because it’s about how you start the repair. If you start the repair in a way where you raise the original texture, the original orange peel of the original factory finish, that’s when you learn to not disturb it and use it as the final finish. #dentexperts
