This is the very first version of the song 'Promise'. This is the audio of me singing at Patson and Rumbi's wedding way back in 2014. The bride had asked me to write something for her big day and this was the result! Lincoln Mandengu did an amazing job on the guitar. I have never been able to recreate it.
I can say it's one of the first songs I wrote from a place of truth. I meant every word because I had a love of my own, and I was praying that I too would one day walk down the aisle. Later that year I got to sing this song at my own wedding! I can still feel the love in this song...
