LC-MS rhizosphere and leaf metabolites characterization of PGPR-treated wheat seedlings
This week's speaker will be Mr Dannies Mashabela a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Johannesburg (Supervisor: Dr. Mhlongo). He completed his M.Sc. (Cum Laude) at the same institution on metabolomics-based studies on Rhizosphere metabolite profiling and metabolic analysis of the plant-protective effects of beneficial rhizobacteria on wheat plants responding to a stripe rust and aluminium combination stress. He will be presenting on: Untargeted metabolite profiling to elucidate rhizosphere and leaf metabolome changes of wheat cultivars treated with PGPR Paenibacillus alvei (T22) and Bacillus subtilis.
