complaining about no cross-progression in apex
This video was originally filmed in March 2021, right when Apex Legends was first released on the Nintendo Switch. I had just started playing Apex Legends on the PS5 but planned to do most of my playing on the Nintendo Switch which (at the time) was my console of choice.
So when I found out there was no cross-progression between systems, I was very surprised and disappointed. But it’s alright, Respawn said they were working on it 😂.
Little did I know at the time that the Nintendo Switch version would essentially be unplayable. When I try to queue up a match, it won’t match me up with anyone. The few times I have gotten into a match, the visuals were so choppy It was like watching a PowerPoint presentation.
So, I guess it never ended up being an issue that Apex Legends does not have cross-progression since I can’t play on the Nintendo Switch to begin with. 1.5 years later and I wonder… are they still working on cross-progression? Wonder how long that’s supposed to take.
