Particles interact with a Lennard-Jones potential and Coulomb forces. The charges are evenly distributed and the resulting Coulomb forces are inverted such that equal charges attract and different charges repel.
The main difference is that here I only show the beginning shock wave, but the particles are coloured according to their relative speed: The fastest particles are red and the slowest are blue. The temperature is kept at 5000K via a Berendsen thermostat.
The parameters for the Coulomb constant and LJ-bond strength are not in all clips exactly the same.
Whe first clip was recorded at 60 fps while all others were recorded at 120 fps (YT trimms to 60 fps)
