International Dispute Resolution: Creating the next generation of global problem-solvers
Grounded in experiential learning, International Dispute Resolution (IDR) is a course that introduces ANU Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Laws (Hons) students to the theory and history of IDR as well as its six primary mechanisms contained in the United Nations Charter.
Over the course of three days, students participated in a series of real-life IDR simulations. They also heard insights from some of Australia's most senior international lawyers including Hon Prof Bill Campbell AO PSM KC, Hon Prof Richard Rowe PSM, Jesse Clarke and Jamie Cooper.
