Poetic Case Affinity Review for the OnePlus X | Protective Yet Stylish!
Hey everyone it’s E1 and welcome to another installment of E1tech. Today's video is my first impression and review of the Affinity series Premium Case for the OnePlus X.
I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the design and the aesthetics of the Affinity Case. From its Polycarbonate crystal clear finish, accompanied by the black TPU protective ridge system, WOW I immediately had to put it on my Oneplus X.
Now with the design of this case, it protects just as it said it would. It keeps your device from scratches and I believe it will protect also from cracking if dropped. This is called the X-FORM protection system. Where there are TPU ridges at the sides, back and on the inner sides of the case which assists in shock dissipation. you can place your case on a flat surface and the clear Polycarbonate material will not be scratched. The front of the case has a bezel or as some might say a lip that, when the device is placed face down on a flat surface, the screen will not be in contact with that surface. The only way the clear polycarbonate can be scratched is with keys or any other sharp objects in your pocket or bag.
And while you are being protected you can still have access the headphones jack, alert slider, volume rocker and charging port with perfect functionality.
The Affinity case is lightweight and has somewhat of a sturdy build. Some say it's great and a premium feel. This will vary based on each person’s preference. But in my opinion, the construction of the sides and the bottom by the charging port could of been a built sturdier.
It is very thin I must say. It fits in your pocket without even being noticed or leaving you with a bulky feeling. The thing I like most is that it does not hide the beauty of the OnePlus X. Yes I really do like that.
I have had this case for over a week and my only dislike is that the Anti grip Sides should of been made with the same TPU material as the ridges at the corners for better grip.
The Affinity Case has earned its place in the lineup of many cased for the OnePlus X. I cannot even argue about the price of $14.95. With protection like this, price is not bad at all. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a stylish, yet protective case at a reasonable price.
