Operation ATALANTA has been a key maritime security actor for the last 15 years rapidly evolving to the changes in the region while promoting lasting regional maritime solutions by enhancing local capabilities.
Through capacity enhancement, personnel undergo specialized programs, improving their skills for the challenges that await. All of this with the aim to fulfill ATALANTA ’s end state: local forces taking charge of their own security.
