A better switch for 400 car batteries
YouTube creator @styropyro recently published a video with 400 car batteries wired together. But his switch was problematic. So I designed a better switch that CAN survive thousands of amps, with no bouncing or burning at all. I don't have 400 car batteries at my disposal but I put together enough power to prove the concept. I also have some fun melting fuses and copper cables in the process.
The Lorentz force actually holds the switch shut when the current is flowing, so the electro motive forces work in our favor.
