Ely - a Rescue Story - Ely and Friends
This is Ely's story. Ely was rescued on 08/27/14. He was Scheduled for Euthanasia (put to sleep) within the next day or so. We picked him up at AAC (Austin Animal Center, in Austin Texas). He was a sweet, happy boy, but he was in bad shape. He was covered in wounds. His legs were the worst. He would need wound care, and surgery.
The surgery was rough, but he made it through.
With TLC, he thrived in his foster home (my home). Over the months he stayed with us, we fell in love with him. When it came time to find him a forever home, it became clear...
He'd already found it.
We adopted Ely.
Sometimes, when you're not looking...You find exactly what you needed.
