Emu's Wide World S2E3 (1987) - FULL EPISODE
Due to a blunder by Grotbags, Pink Windmill Kid Danny Hosier finds himself at the centre of the action. However will he find a way out of this terrible predicament? Meanwhile, King Boggle is still trying to get one over on the taxman, Frank Carson drops in for a brief chat, and we're put to bed with a telling of Emulocks and the Three Bears.
The songs in this episode are Weekend (written by Mick Jackson) and All Over the World (by Electric Light Orchestra). The former doesn't make as much sense as it could - I wonder whether that one was approved, rubber-stamped, coreographed and practised before the show was shifted away from its last-thing-on-a-Friday slot. As it is, they're extolling the virtues of weekends on Tuesday, 17th November, 1987.
As usual, there's lots of fun to be had at Grotbags's Grotto with the cauldron game, the Post Office, and down in Emu's Bargain Basement - where the star prize looks suspiciously like an Amstrad CPC. Can anyone positively identify the computer at 21:53? Just curious...
