Roof is formed by orbital floor
Floor is formed by the alveolar part of maxilla.

OMC is the final common pathway of drainage for the frontal, maxillary sinus and anterior ethmoid cells to middle meatus.
Blockage of the OMC prevents effective drainage, thus leading to stagnation of secretions and therefore leading to recurrent or chronic sinusitis.
