A week ago after I watched Aira Sora's amazing videos with Ballerina I decided to try this movie. And, oh lord, it's so good! Ballerina is a very warm, adorable and poetic movie with really good written characters and amazing dancing scenes. I'm sad that I missed it when it had been showing in theaters because trailers spoiled most of the plot points and I was like: ugh, another dream-come-true-if-you-are-good-person story. But there is something special in Ballerina though the plot isn't original. It has a soul.
As you guess, I totally fell in love with monsieur Merante. I like such kind of character, I call them sarcastic-ass-with-a-golden-heart. He's very handsome man and his relationships with Odette are soo sweet. I wish, there would be shown more of their past in the movie. But we have what we have.
This video is just my try out of Merante, so plot here is a basic sweet love story. No drama. No sad ending. Can't say that I'm satisfied with all masks, I'm still working on my CGI videos. But anyway I enjoy this video.
