ARO Symphonic Strings: Basses - dynamic range test
When Double Basses are really going for it they can produce a frightening yet marvelous sound. However, many sampled bass sections are lacking some heft and punch in the upper dynamic range. In this video I wanted to take a quick look at the full dynamic range of the basses from Spitfire Audio's new flagship strings library "Abbey Road Orchestra - Symphonic Strings". The video features the following articulations: sustain, spiccatissimo, staccato, tremolo and col legno. All sounds are Mix 1 without external processing.
