In this video, I demonstrate a real-world integration between a WooCommerce e-commerce store and a custom ERP system built with Laravel.
Managing an online store and an internal business system separately can lead to inventory errors and double-entry work. This solution automates the entire flow, ensuring data consistency across both platforms.
Key Technical Highlights:
Laravel Backend: Acts as the central hub for the ERP.
WooCommerce REST API: Used for fetching products and updating stock levels.
Webhooks: Triggers real-time actions in the ERP when an order is placed on the site.
Ngrok: Utilized for local testing of webhooks to bridge the gap between my local environment and the public internet.
Workflow Demonstrated:
Placing an order on WooCommerce.
The Webhook payload being received by the Laravel ERP.
Automatic creation of the Invoice and Stock adjustment in the ERP.
