MISHA COLLINS TALKS ABOUT HIS CHILDHOOD NIGHTMARES, HIS FEELINGS ABOUT JENSEN, & THE EGGS AND BLACK CONTRUCTION PAPER - Transcripts Below...
Woman: Anything...
Misha: Also other scary things-well actualy the single most lasting terrifying thing ever in my life was when I was six years old, I threw a stick into the river, my dog went into the water to fetch it and came back out a 12ft tall, black big bird...and...you know, I dont laugh at your scary stuff...um, I dont...um later on in life- I was about 5 or 6 at the time...later on I figured out that it was a dream. But it was many years later...so it played me for a long time- I think I was in third or fourth grade when I figure out, "wait a minute...that scary thing didnt really happen to you, relax" ...and did the same thing for the whole Santa Clause-... any small children?... revalation... alright well it was great talking to you...
Woman: Thank you
Woman2: hi Misha
Misha: hi
Woman2: Thank you very much for taking live questions, my name is-
Misha: I actually mentioned the works, that this is not the proper way to do things, and I want to say that I was kind of a pain backstage, so... its not good! and this behaviour shouldnt be condoned...
Woman2: oh we Condone it...but um my names Mary and my question is about something Jensen that said in an article about you...it said that "Since most actors are hired to play something close to there own personality." when he first met you playing Castiel, he was sort of "uhh what is it going to be like to work with this wierd person." and then later on he complements you by saying that he then realized it was an acting choice on your part.. Did you realize you were freaking him out at all?
Misha: No, I just thought he was a standoffish, stuck-up... prick. But obviously as time- you know passed, I realized that was all true. um, yeah It's really funny isn't it? its like we're actors and yet um the assumption you always make when you see someone playing a role is that's how their personality really is, and a lot of times, it's true. um I'm not- I play this character Castiel on a tv show, and im not really like him, I dont think we're similar..I think my real personality has more gravitas. um hey Let's do something weird, you go next.
Woman3: Hi Misha uh-
Misha: hi
Woman3: my name is Jack...and I was just wondering, If you were actually going to give a PowerPoint presentation, "Anomic Vectors in the Postmodern Workforce" um what would you be talking about right now? Instead of Supernatural stuff...I have an egg and a pen, and black construction paper.
Misha: um OK uh- I- we'll deal with that, we'll have to figure out some way to deal with that.cause- you probably had to go- how would you find black construction paper and availiable cities?
Woman3: I ran to Wal-Mart before I came here
Misha: yes and...Thank you for putting in the effort
Woman3: Anything for the master
Misha: "Anomic Vectors in the Postmodern Workforce"...Well actually, I was hoping you all- that everyone who brought black construction paper would jot down a few notes on that topic
Audience Member: I brought Blue!
Misha: with your pen- Glue? Blue construction paper.. what? thats ridiculous! um do you have extra-
Woman: I have a ton actually
Misha: She has lots of extra black constuction paper...so we can all jot down some notes on "Anomic Vectors in the Postmodern Workforce" um great thank you...and we also have to figure out something to do with all those eggs...[more on Part 3!]
