My Monday Morning walk in Taipei, Taiwan. I visited the Tamsui District, with its fantastic landscapes and beautiful calm river. There is just something relaxing about walking next to water. Only took a short journey on the MRT. Great walk!

Tamsui District, also spelled Danshui, is a district located in the northern part of New Taipei City in Taiwan. It is a seaside district known for its rich history, beautiful sunsets, and seafood.
The area was a significant trading port in the 19th century and it has retained much of its historical charm. The old street market in Tamsui, called "Tamsui Old Street," is a bustling area where you can find a variety of local foods, such as the famous "Ah Gei" (fried tofu stuffed with glass noodles), "iron eggs" (eggs that have been repeatedly stewed in a mix of spices), and Tamsui fish ball soup.
The district is also known for the Tamsui Fisherman's Wharf, which is a popular place to watch the sunset and enjoy the sea breeze. The "Lover's Bridge," a white-colored pedestrian bridge located at the wharf, is an iconic sight that is especially beautiful when illuminated at night.
