This is true 1080p high definition. This is not just an upscale from standard definition as found elsewhere. This presentation is from a privately commissioned 35mm scan. ‘Flash Gordon’ (1936) is the only serial to be preserved by the Library of Congress. In 2023 'Flash Gordon' (1936) was completely restored in 35mm by UCLA. Chapter 6 “Flaming Torture” with Buster Crabbe, Jean Rogers, Priscilla Lawson, Charles Middleton, John Lipson and Frank Shannon. Directed by Frederick Stephani and Ray Taylor. Produced by Henry MacRae.
