Exploring Ruins of Former Chemical Plant
Today we are exploring a massive Chemical Plant near Berlin. Built in 1899 it opened as a cement plant which operated until 1944. After the war the plant was converted to produce fertilizer and eventually closed in 1999. Since then it was been used as a filming location for productions such as Homeland, Enemy at the Gates, Monuments Men and the Hunger Games.
