Venues Online Ticket Booking System
ITEW2 - Finals Research Project
Our group project, an Online Ticket Booking System, is a web application built using client and server-side programming. The system allows users to register, log in, and manage their profiles. Users can browse events, select seats (VIP, Balcony, etc.), book tickets, and view their tickets with generated QR codes. They can also submit new events for admin approval.
Admins have a separate interface to approve or decline submitted events and manage event listings. The application is developed using PHP, SQL, JavaScript, DOM manipulation, and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. A database is used to store/save data such as user profiles, tickets, and event details. Features include form validation, search/filter options, dynamic updates, and a responsive design with smooth animations.
