WPSG Artist Profile 2011 - Chris Gordon
Art works infused with the power of observation. Her styles range from a Dutch realism to her looser, still rich with detail, color-filled vineyard scenes.
Known for her miniatures and painted eggs. (In 2006 Chris painted the 'New York State Egg' meeting First Lady Laura Bush at the White House unveiling of State Eggs.) In this presentation she show some of her larger works.
Between the larger and smaller works there is a fascinating balance in the scaling of detail and details emerge the closer you look.
