Multi-Purpose Quad Robot Machining Cell with Debris Collection
The Multi-Purpose Quad Robot Machining Cell with Debris Collection is designed to allow our partners to own a fully automated quad robotic machining/routing work cell with four stations that have quick-change machining/routing fixtures on the rotational platform. After the initial investment, our partners can then simply replace the quick-change fixtures without re-investing in an entirely new work cell with four robots. The base design of the work cell allows for the platform to be increased or decreased in size for various part-size families with very little engineering involvement. Practically any part that needs post-molding operations, or even adhesive and bonding applied, could be performed in this work cell. The work cell includes a debris collection system. The overall design of the work cell includes debris management using a down draft ventilated enclosure with two-inch-thick insulation to keep the noise levels low externally. Each fixture station is designed with openings and suction such that the debris is pulled thru the fixture and into the automated duct system underneath the platform.
